THE PINATA ROOM presented 30 pinatas created by artist, Shelter Serra, at Gary Lichtenstein Editions. Each piñata was filled with unique objects such as fake iPhones and fashion jewelry - made and manipulated by Shelter. Pinata smashing took place midway through the evening and, armed with limited edition silkscreen bags, guests eagerly rushed to collect what fell to the floor. Select piñatas as well as two silkscreen print editions were available for sale.
